About this asset
Create editable, timed captions directly inside Adobe After Effects. EliteNuggets Auto Captions v2.8 turns spoken audio into multiline caption layers and gives you controls for emphasis styling, smart spacing, drop shadow, whole-caption or per-word motion, and editable easing curves.
Use Selected Layer In/Out, Composition Work Area, or Entire Source to choose what gets transcribed. After one successful transcription, Rebuild From Last Transcript lets you change layout, typography, emphasis, shadow, animation scope, motion style, and curves without running speech recognition again.
The package is designed for Windows. First-time setup installs the local transcription dependency; an internet connection may be required the first time the speech model is downloaded. Normal caption generation then runs through the included local workflow.
